If you buy a new digital camera, your hard drive will fill up with pictures in no time and it will be quite difficult to locate specific items. Photo Supreme provides one of the best solutions for managing large image libraries. It places a rich set of features at your disposal, which you can use to categorize your images, color code or favorite them and much more. You can also make basic adjustments on your photos and share them over the Internet.

The software is available for Windows Vista and later editions, as well as various Mac OS X platforms. It is free to try for a period of 30 days, during which you will not encounter any locked features. Photo Supreme can be installed in a matter of seconds and it does not ask for top of the line hardware.

After importing your library to Photo Supreme's database, you will be able to browse through your pictures just like on a standard explorer window. A series of default folders are organized in various categories, like people, events, places and others, on the left side of the interface. Imported images are automatically organized in different folders, based on your import sessions.

The images themselves are displayed as thumbnails and you can select one or more items and move them to other folders by clicking and dragging them. A number of options can be found on each thumbnail, for rotating, rating and color coding the image. If you select more than one image, the options will affect all images automatically.

There is more than one way to find certain images. Besides accessing a categorized folder, you can type keywords, like a picture's name or the name of its parent folder, in a search box. It is also possible to filter the pictures, to show items with a specific color or rating, bookmarked or labeled images.

A series of options, located in the lower region of the interface, can be used to preview images, bring up adjustment options, prepare batch operations, share them and more. Pictures can be copied to other folders on the hard drive, shared via email, uploaded to Facebook, Flickr, Picasaweb and other websites.

Pros

Photo Supreme includes a large number of features for managing large image libraries. You can rate, color code or categorize your pictures, use filters and much more. The software also allows you to share your images over the Internet.

Cons

In certain cases, if you remove images from the program's database, you may have difficulties importing them again. With Photo Supreme, you can turn a huge and disorganized heap of images into a well organized library.
